Puppetry and Me
Some journeys are intentional and others come into our lives by surprise. When I began my acting career, I never set out to carve out experience as a puppeteer. I believe my love of visual and whimsical storytelling sent me to collaborators who used puppetry as a medium to bring these incredible worlds to life. And as they say, the rest is history…
Puppetry Experience
Performer
Isabella began her journey as a puppeteer by accident after joining the World Premiere of Ernie Nolan’s The Teddy Bear’s Picnic, a play designed for the Very Young. Following that production, she has performed various puppetry roles in over ten productions.
Designer
Isabella’s love for puppetry and visual storytelling expanded when she began work as a Shadow Puppet Designer for Something Marvelous’ Production of Firefly Love. Her attention to detail and love of whimsy can be seen throughout her designs.
Educator
Isabella’s work as an artist is always connected to her career as an Art’s Educator. She is passionate about sharing her skills as a puppeteer and designer with young people in the form of Master Classes and Production Mentorship.
